The Black Heart Procession konseri mi dediniz?
Şayet konserden önce bir yazı kaleme almış olsaydım, konser yaklaşırken dile getirdiklerimi de pekiştirir bir halde yanılgı sularında boğulacaktım. Söz uçar. Kaydedilmiyorsa.
Fakat belirtmeliyim ki bu değil, konserden hazzetmememe sebep. Hatta bir yere kadar hoşuma bile gitti, lafazanlıkları. Seyirci/dinleyici ile ilişkileri.
Çekirdek kadro olan Pall Jenkins ve Tobies Nathaniel harici albümlerinden bildiğimiz kadro ile turlamıyorlar bir süredir. Şahane bascı Jovi Butts ve davulcu Jason Hooper şimdiye dek gelmiş TBHP kayıtlarından bildiğimiz müzisyenler değil. Başka yerlerden (The Flying Objects, Goodbye Blue Monday) biliyoruz. 2006 The Spell albümünden itibaren nam’ı diğer “The Album Leaf” Jimmy Lavelle ve zaman zaman The Album Leaf’ destek veren Matt Resovich, TBHP kayıtlarında ve konserlerinde bulundular. Lavelle deniz aşırı pek dolaşmıyor. Ama Matt Resovich genelde gruba eşlik ediyor-du. Istanbul’a dört kişi geldiler. Resovich klavye desteği yapıyor ki kimi yerlerde Tobies Nathaniel nasıl sıkıştığına şahit olduk. Yanı sıra TBHP parçalarının damarını teşkil eden keman Resovich’den dökülecekti. Dökülemedi. Mesela “Blue Tears” katır kutur bir halde aksetti. Parçaların çoğu albümlerin izinde yorumlandı ki, herhalde bir müzikseverin tercih edeceği bir şey değil. Daha sert çaldıklarına tanık oldum. Bir parçayı alıp başka bir yerlere taşımalarına ve tek kelime laf etmeyip Pall Jenkins’in gitarının tellerini dağıttığına da. Bazı konserler müzisyen ile aranızdaki bağı kuvvetlendirdiği gibi bazen de var olanı gevşetir ya, bende olan bu hal. Ama The Black Heart Procession sevgimize öyle de kolay kolay halel gelmez. Bir daha.
